Florida Association of Orthodontists

We engage and inspire our members, and promote the value of professional orthodontic care to the public.

Join us for

Networking. Advocacy. Education.

We welcome orthodontic specialists to join as soon as you become a Resident, or at any time during your career. In this video, Dr. Calogero Dolce, Professor & Chair of Orthodontics at the University of Florida, talks about the benefits of getting involved in your professional association while in Residency. You can learn more about membership benefits at our Join Us page.

About Us

Founded in 1940, the Florida Association of Orthodontists is one of the largest associations within the American Association of Orthodontists, and we are the largest state association within the Southern Association of Orthodontists, representing more than 600 orthodontists throughout the state of Florida. We are dedicated to improving the art and science of orthodontics. To do so, every March we offer many hours of continuing education at the FAO Annual Session as well as expanded duties certification courses for staff members throughout the year, across the state.
